Sidi Bou Said. Bonjour !
This city attracts me like a magnet, it is source of strength and inspiration.
Only white and blue color around. White walls, blue doors, balconies of houses and canopies of cafes, there is not a single repeating pattern on the blue bars … Narrow streets, you steps up or down … Everything around you is white and blue again..
And life is bubbling around, people hug, take pictures, smile .
You go in white – blue city, above you the blue sky, you can to see turquoise sea. And in your soul comes peace and balance. I have blue dress to look harmonious with the surrounding city. I listen my heart.. I fall in love ..
Listen to the sensations. What do you feel inside of yourself, what will you hear? The same as me?
A breeze, walking between lattices on the windows, will sing song about love .. Je t’aime….A man will give you jasmine “this is for you, madam” – “Merci”. You hear a rumble in small shops with souvenirs. You go on … The oriental bazaar buzzes like a hive, it lives by the same rules for many centuries, sales carpets, ceramics, embroidered clothes, cages for birds … ..
it is a pity that they do not sell the elixir of happiness. C’est la vie! as French say!
I like one cute café – Cafe des Delices. Be sure to go into it and order a cup of green tea with pine nuts. Sit on the low benches under the blue umbrellas, peer into the blue of the sea and sky, immerse yourself in memories, do not rush anywhere. Your memories are covered with a veil … The smell of jasmine, orange trees, view on yachts on the sea. This is the Cafe des Delices, I remeber words from song Patrick Bruel…
